The Société des bains de mer of Monaco was at the origins of the “Monegasque miracle”, based on the casino and the hydropathic establishment which attracted wealthy customers. This article recounts the smear campaigns that the principality had to face during the First World War, as Monaco was accused of favouring the german spying. (full text in French)

This article presents the memory sites honouring the fallen men during the Great War, just like the war memorial located in the cemetery, the commemorative plaques in Sainte-Devote Church, in Albert I highschool, in the barracks of firemen and carabiniers, in the S.B.M. headoffice, and in different official entities of the principality. Finally, the author talks about some representative graves of soldiers. (full text in French)
